Age: 20
Birthday: Nov. 3
Blood Type: AB+
Height/Weight: 5'9"/135 lbs.
RC-Type: Koukaku (+Resilience, -Speed)
Rank: Rank 3 Investigator (C-Rank)
Stats:
Appearance:
Setsuko Fujikawa is a rather tentative young woman. Not unattractive by any means, Setsuko stands at 5'9", and weighs no more than 130 lbs. Not quite underweight, but not the healthiest weight that someone of that height could be at any given time. All in all, she takes on a rather unassuming appearance, save for when her singular Kakugan is manifested in her left eye. That said, there's a few things to note about about her.
Firstly, Setsuko's hair is a maroon in color, and kept in a loose braid that flows down to her upper back. Her bangs are neatly cut and rest straight across her forehead, with two strands, one on either side, flowing down to her chin on the far sides of her face. Her eyebrows are the same color as her hair, as to further show that the hair color is, in fact, natural. Her hair is kept rather neat, and is generally one of the first things that people will notice about her.
Her face is generally kept quite clean of any blemishes or scars, and she tends to like to keep it that way. Any sort of scarring or blemishes would only go to take away from her natural beauty, and this is far from something she'd ever like to happen. Her eyes are a piercing golden in color, and are completely all-natural; no contacts or anything needed. They simply hold that shining golden color and do look rather human in nature.
Aside from her appearance, Setsuko can generally be seen in a white button-up shirt, with a pair of black dress pants. She's rather neat and organized in that regard, tending to enjoy being able to dress professionally whenever the option is there. Aside from that, she's likely not going to be seen in much else when it comes to attire, aside from the occasional day where it might be normal to wear a t-shirt and sweatpants.
While on duty, Setsuko is likely to be seen with the standard Quinx coat; a large white trench-coat that rests plainly below her knees, and maintains a hole in the back for her Koukaku to be manifested as she sees fit. She'll usually wear her business casual wear underneath her cloak, while also maintaining the professional feel and being able to house her items as she sees fit on her person while on a mission.
As far as her own weapons are concerned, Setsuko tends to carry around her her signature Quinque briefcase on her wherever she goes. It doesn't matter if she'll need it with her, she tends to feel unsafe without it and in turn, likes to keep it on her person. The same goes for her attachments and items; underneath her uniform, Setsuko likes to keep everything that she could possibly need for a fight on her, on the off-chance that a violent skirmish could break out.
Likes:
Electronics - Setsuko is a huge tech nerd. That much is incredibly evident to most that generally take the time to look at her. She's almost always tinkering away at something, and tends to spend any time she can modifying her Quinque to the best of her ability. If she's got the option to spend time to herself in order to further advance her own weapons and technology to bring on the job, she's absolutely going to take that time.
Reading - Setsu is an avid reader. She very much enjoys spending her time reading, though most of what she reads will generally pertain to advancing her own technological mind; predominantly non-fiction material, likely relating to either that of her tech work or reading into Ghoul physiology in order to study her foes to the best of her ability. Any advantage she can get, she'll take.
Field Work - Setsu absolutely loves being able to be on the field when she's able to. She's a girl that effectively lives for the thrill of a fight, and very much enjoys being able to get her hands dirty. She very heavily prides herself on her ability to get a job done while out on the field, even if largely in part due to her own little gadgets and whatnot. Any chance she can get to tear down Ghouls is something she'll absolutely take advantage of.
Planning Ahead - Setsu loves being able to plan anything and everything ahead of time. She's got set records for her finances, raids planned against Aogiri territory set up six months ahead of time, and even a fairly strict day-to-day schedule. Just about everything about her life is fairly well planned out, and she'd absolutely like to keep it that way if she's got the option to do so. To not have a schedule is to accept chaos.
Cats - Cats are absolutely the superior animal in the cats versus dogs debate. They're much more calm, and animals you can exist around without feeling overwhelmed most of the time. If she had the option to comfortably do it, Setsu would easily own twenty of them. Unfortunately, she doesn't have nearly enough space to house twenty cats, so she suffices with just one; a domestic short-haired named Jukebox.
Dislikes:
Ghouls - This much is incredibly evident. Due to her family history, Setsuko has developed a resentment, and burning hatred toward Ghouls as a whole. Being a natural Half-Ghoul, Setsuko had witnessed the horrors of being a Ghoul first-hand from her father, and has since developed an intense desire to wipe each and every one of them off of the face of the planet for good.
Overly Energetic People - Setsuko has a relative distaste toward people who tend to be constantly teeming with too much energy all of the time. While she isn't directly adversarial toward these kinds of people, she'd rather not be around them if she has the opportunity to just avoid them. The energy that they give off is pretty overwhelming for her at times, and she'd rather not deal with that.
A Lack of Respect - This is a big one for her. Those that have a general lack of respect or care for others, their belongings, or anything of the like are those that frankly aren't worth her time. They might not be Ghouls, but to her they might as well be, given the fact that they genuinely don't deserve anything. They're terrible people that she'll go out of her way to piss off if given the option to do so.
Noise - Simply put, Setsuko likes to work in relative silence. Most sorts of noise are generally a huge distraction for the girl, and not something she generally would like to deal with if she can help it. When working on her projects, she'll generally have music playing in the background, but generally speaking that's about how much she's able to put up with. Any more than that and she'll start to get agitated.
Not Having Free Time - Setsuko is someone that enjoys having as much free time as she possibly can. She likes being able to work on her projects when given the chance, and doesn't like not being able to. Having even the slightest interruption, or even the smallest change in her schedules when it comes to her free time is bound to upset her exponentially. Generally speaking it's something to avoid.
Habits & Flaws:
Attacking First - Due to her absolutely intolerable hatred for Ghouls, Setsuko is the type of person to not ask questions and simply fight a ghoul on-sight. It doesn’t matter what the reasoning is, she’ll take any opportunity she can reasonably get in order to enter combat with a ghoul. This is something she's trying to work on, as sometimes capturing a Ghoul is simply the best option, but more often than not, she's going to be out for blood.
Energy Drinks - Setsuko is absolutely addicted to caffeine in all forms. Predominantly, this extends to energy drinks. Even she doesn't really know what it is, but she'll usually always keep one on her person at all times; even in the field, if she's not bringing too much of her tech. Naturally, she's not the type of person to want a Monster to spill all over her stuff if she can help it, considering most of that stuff is liquid sensitive.
"like..." - Effectively on impulse, Setsuko lines just about everything she says with some sort of "like", "um," or other forms of pseudo-stutters. This is something she's been doing for years, so it's a habit that she's absolutely not going to be breaking any time soon. Those that know her are just going to have to put up with it if they care about their relationship with her. She doesn't do these out of a lack of interest, but more out of habit.
Reading Too Deeply Into Things - Setsuko tends to read way too deeply into anything and everything, all of the time. She's the type of person to overthink everything and tends to stress herself out because of it pretty frequently. She'll generally try to prevent herself from doing so to the best of her ability, but where it stands this can absolutely be a bit on the difficult side of things.
Carrying Around an MP3 Player - Music is pretty big for Setsu. Generally speaking, she likes to be able to listen to music when she's got the option to do so. This does include going out into the field, and generally if she picks a bad time to listen to music, this could absolutely be problematic. Should she pick a bad time to start blasting her music during a mission, she could absolutely end up getting her killed if she's unable to pick up on sound queues.
Goals:
Protecting Those She Cares About - Whether most people believe it or not, Setsuko is a very outgoing person to those she values. She's very willing to aid those she can in conflict where possible, and make sure that all of her friends and family (save for one very specific individual) stay alive. For those she especially cares for, Setsuko may be willing to throw her own life on the line in order to protect those individuals.
Eradication of All Ghouls - Having been previously mentally scarred in the past from her experiences with Ghouls, Setsuko has one hell of a vendetta against all Ghouls, and wishes to wipe them all off the face of the planet. She has absolutely no room for mercy amongst pure Ghouls, but does absolutely feel sympathy toward natural-born Half-Ghouls like herself. Generally, she'll extend an invitation to ally with the CCG to those that are like her.
Raising in the Ranks - Much like plenty of other people, Setsuko is also striving to hold a high rank. Eventually, she'd love to be able to work her way up to Special Investigator, and potentially lead her own Squad. Naturally she'll still have quite a bit of time before actually being able to do so, but something like that is absolutely on her agenda for her own future. She isn't the type to throw other people under the bus for rank, but she's not exactly not cutthroat, either.
Personality:
Simply put, Setsuko is an incredibly introverted girl. She's the type of person to keep to herself most of the time, only really interacting with other people when absolutely necessary. She's not the most social, but at the same time she generally means well when talking to others. If given the option between taking time to interact with others, or sitting in headquarters and tinkering with her own gadgets or spending time on her own training with her Quinque when given the chance, she'd gladly take the time to spend on her own, as opposed to forcing herself to endure any social interaction whatsoever.
When trying to get onto Setsuko's good side, there are a few key options that will generally help someone. Firstly, appealing to her technological mind. Talking shop with Setsu about tech, the projects she's working on, or anything of the like is a phenomenal way to win her over, if done enough. Though, for any kind of conversation to really begin with the girl, those talking to her will likely need to initiate it. She's not the type to start a conversation, and if not given something to talk about, whether it be in a positive or negative light, she'll generally go silent after she finishes.
Getting onto Setsuko's bad side isn't something that's difficult to do at all. She doesn't like people that are overly-pushy, nor those that try to press their beliefs on everyone including herself. She likes to be able to form her own thoughts, and doesn't like ideas forced down her throat. She likes to be given her own freedom to make her own decisions, and will take that freedom as often as she possibly can. Even within the Q Squad, Setsuko likes to spend time on her own when given the opportunity to do so, and would much rather spend time doing her own thing.
Setsuko's largest priority in life is her own work. She's incredibly hyper-focused on her own projects, her tech work, and the eradication of Ghouls everywhere. As such, she's not the type to care very much for building relationships with other people, including but not limited to those that are generally romantic in nature. While not specifically aromantic or asexual, Setsuko doesn't really value these kinds of intimate relationships all that much. That isn't to say she doesn't respect them, but simply that they're just not for at the moment, as she doesn't really have the capacity for either of these.
While absolutely a hard-worker, Setsuko is generally a girl that needs motivation in order to accomplish anything she's not already interested in doing for herself. That is to say, unless she's given an incentive to work toward something she doesn't want to do, she's absolutely not going to. On the other hand, however, if something she actively wants to do is put in front of her, Setsuko is the type of girl to focus that down, and complete it to the best possible degree of success. She'll stop at nothing until the focus of her time and effort is essentially perfect; in this aspect, she could absolutely be seen as a perfectionist of sorts.
Setsuko is not really the type of person to actively hate others. As long as someone's not a Ghoul, she's willing to put up with a lot in order to maintain a somewhat healthy relationship with that person, even if it's just a business relationship. Those relationships are always important, and are easily her best ticket to advancing within the CCG, as opposed to spending her life as a Rank 3 Investigator. While not her top priority, the girl doesn't want to stagnate; she wants to be able to move up in rank, and her best chances of being able to do so is to build strong relationships with those above her.
If it wasn't already made exceedingly apparent, Setsuko has an unyielding hatred for Ghouls of any kind. Having seen the horrors of what they can do firsthand, she wholeheartedly believes that they simply don't have a place in the world in the most spiteful, malice-fueled way possible. Her ultimate goal in life is to help aid with, and actively eradicate any and every Ghoul she comes across, including her own father should she come across him sometime down the line. Any moment she's not spending tearing into Ghoul flesh is usually a moment that she's spending planning out the next time she'll be able to do so.
Fighting Style:
Setsuko's basic approach to combat is that of tact. Simply put, she's a very strategic thinker, and likes to take that approach to every combat situation she has the option to. Much like her normal living habits, Setsuko likes to have a plan for anything and everything. Naturally, this means that before even thinking about getting onto the field, Setsuko is going to have three different plans for entry, five different ways to achieve the mission's goal, and seven different ways to get out of the mission zone. If she doesn't have the option to plan something out, she's very unlikely to take up a mission. If it weren't for the fact that she's incredibly introverted, she might make for a good leader.
Setsuko's favorite Quinque, and the one she wields the most is known as Izanami no Mikoto, after the Goddess of Death. Being a highly-customizable Quinque, Izanami no Mikoto is focused around its versatility through the form of modifications and attachments that can be socketed onto the weapon itself. Naturally because of this, maintaining this weapon, and trying to bring any other Quinque into a fight generally isn't the easiest thing that can be done.
While in an advantageous situation, Setsuko is likely to do everything she can in order to press that advantage. She'll keep up an oppressive fire on her opponents, force them to keep running away if she's able to, and all-in-all keep up an assault against her foes. Her goal is to make it to where her opponents are either forced to give up and perish, or to struggle against her own assault team.
In a disadvantageous position, Setsuko's primary goal is going to be focusing on her own survival, and the survival of her squad. Her focus will be preserving the life of her allies, as opposed to putting down her enemies. When push comes to shove, Setsuko is absolutely the type to put herself in the way of danger if it means she can allow an ally to get away alive. That said, she's not going to just throw away her own life; if she believes someone can reasonably take a hit, or is going to be able to absolutely receive some form of medical attention afterward, she's not going to risk herself.
Against a Ukaku Ghoul, Setsuko is effectively in a war of attrition, with an advantage. Considering she has a Koukaku Kagune, she's able to put herself in a better position to defend against incoming attacks against her, making use of her Koukaku solely as a barrier of sorts. Against a stereotypical Ukaku Ghoul, however, Setsuko is likely to be heavily out-sped, and is required to plan accordingly to deal with the blitzing speed that someone could potentially force against her.
In a fight with a Koukaku Ghoul, Setsuko is likely to be in a bit of a rough position. Seeing as her Quinque of choice is a Ukaku, and her own Kagune is Koukaku, she's likely going to end up in a bit of a struggle when it comes to dealing with a defensive Koukaku user. In a fight like this, she's likely going to be focused on trying to exploit her opponent's lack of speed in order to put herself into a more advantageous position.
With Rinkaku foes, Setsu is also quite the predicament. While her firearm won't be in a detrimental position, she'll have to deal with the advantages of a Rinkaku Ghoul; namely their ability to pierce through Koukaku Ghouls. If pressed against a wall and forced to fight a Rinkaku ghoul, she's very likely not to make use of her Kagune as to help her keep up her speed to normal levels. When her Kagune isn't going to be all that effective to begin with, she'd much rather not suffer for arbitrary reward, and would much rather rely on her non-ghoul abilities in order to win the fight.
Fighting against a Bikaku Ghoul is easily the best situation she could be in. She'll have her advantage against them thanks to her Ukaku Quinque, and her Koukaku Kagune will likely be able to hold a sturdy defense against her opponent. Where it stands, she'll be in quite the beneficial situation, and that's even without beginning to mention any additional items or gadgets she might decide to bring alongside her.
On the topic of gadgets, tough, Setsuko is somewhat of an expert in the field. Having a focus when it comes to building her own tech, Setsuko is very close-fisted when looking to give it out to other people. She's very much the type to focus on keeping her items to herself, and only passing them out to others as she sees fit; if she's going to give anything out to anyone, she's going to regulate who has possession of them. That said, most of her items usually help to augment her ability to fight; from deployable cameras, to traps, to disrupting enemy technology, it matters not to her.
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Kagune Description:
Setsuko's Kagune takes the shape of a riot-shield of sorts. The mass of the Kagune itself coils around her left arm, and spreads out upon reaching mid-way down her forearm. Keeping up the same blood red color most Kagune tend to have, Setsuko's is no different. In place of a sort of glass barrier that would normally be on the shield, a cross-hatched pattern of the same Kagune-steel material is there instead, still offering Setsuko a strong amount of sight through the shield, while protecting her face against a fair amount of oncoming attacks against her.

Character Traits:
- Gadget Smith(Minor)R - [Requires "Ghost in the Machine".] Thanks to her advanced technological knowledge, Setsuko has the ability to construct basic electronic gadgets. These gadgets can be anything she desires, but appropriate item costs must be paid as per the rules for crafting these items. Items up to A-Rank can be created.
- Ghost in the Machine (Major)R - Setsuko is exceptionally knowledgeable and skilled with technology of all kinds. When looking to repair, tamper with, create, or otherwise interact with electronics, or when reciting information about electronics, Setsuko is able to do so flawlessly, and up to thrice as fast when compared to someone commercially trained in doing so. Costs associated with doing so are reduced by 10%, not stacking with any other benefits.
Kagune Traits:
- Defensive (Minor)R - A Weapon with this Trait is adept at defending themselves and allies. While manifested, the user's Resilience is treated as one Rank higher than usual (on top of Kagune bonuses if applicable), but this weapon, under any circumstances, cannot be used for an attack.

Description: Izanami no Mikoto is a Ukaku Quinque of rather simplistic design. The weapon itself takes the form of a fully-automatic rifle; more closely related to that of an AK-12, with the standard blood-red appearance and pulsing waves throughout the weapon itself. Much like a standard AK-12, this Quinque is also heavily fit with attachment rails, allowing for various different options to be additive should someone decide to make these attachments for the weapon in time. The weapon itself traditionally fires in a three-round burst.

Traits:
- Attachment Ready (Major)R - A Quinque with this Trait has been designed around the ability to have multiple attachments put onto the weapon itself, allowing for the same Quinque to be used in multiple different ways, dependent on those that are sought to be installed on the weapon. This Quinque has a number of "Attachment Points" based on the user's Presence Rank, granting two points per rank. Every Attachment Item with a Minor Item Trait takes up one of these points to be socketed on to this Quinque, while every Attachment Item with a Major Item Trait takes up two points to socket. This is the only Trait that this Quinque can have, and the only Quinque that can be brought into a thread. At the beginning of a thread, the attachments currently on this weapon must be listed.
