Following Setsuko quietly, Wynne kept a hand out of sight and on their fanny pack. If anything went wrong, they’d be able to bring out their Quinque quickly. And they were glad they did. The conversation between the three was short and brief. The candy bar allowed them to skip past all the pleasantries and get to the point. And it seemed Wanai knew that too. With their keen eyes, they would immediately notice his discomfort if he actually tried to eat the candy bar, so when he didn’t even try Wynne couldn’t blame him.
"Savor that feeling as it will be the last one you'll have." Taking a few steps backwards the moment Wanai began to laugh, Wynne smoothly pulled out Serenity and Yoso. Aiming towards Setsuko with their left hand, they fired two shots towards the center of her back. Impossible to miss at this range, even with their non dominant hand. Once struck, she would feel a searing warmth spread throughout her body, starting from the place she was struck. This warmth would soon transform into energy, increasing her strength and speed. Placing Serenity back into her pack, they would turn their attention back towards Wanai.
His Kagune took on the form of two Rinkaku tendrils, that were thinner than they normally should. Wynne wasn’t sure why that was the case, but they assumed it made his Kagune more dangerous than normal. Perhaps speed, judging on the reduced mass? Sliding themselves behind a bookcase, they would activate the electricity mode on Yoso before peeking out and firing off two more shots. One going towards his chest and the other towards his leg. The bullets and the electrical current should distract him long enough for Setsuko to get into a safe spot and do some damage herself.
